• Device contacts or calendar data
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Photos from your device beyond what you explicitly select
• Browsing history or other app usage
• Audio or video recordings
• Any sensitive personal information

How We Use Your Information

The photos you submit are used solely for:

• Providing AI-powered jewelry analysis and identification
• Sending images to OpenAI APIs for professional analysis
• Generating detailed reports about your jewelry items
• Storing analysis results locally on your device for your reference

We do NOT use your information for:

• Marketing or advertising purposes
• Selling or sharing with third parties
• Building user profiles or tracking behavior
• Any purpose beyond jewelry analysis

Data Storage and Security

• Photos are sent to OpenAI API for analysis, then stored in our cloud database
• Images are only accessible through your device and import/export data
• All scan results and history are stored locally on your device
• OpenAI processes images for analysis but does not permanently store them
• You have complete control over your local data - export or delete anytime
• INSTANT CLOUD DELETION: Delete all cloud images immediately using your export file
• Images cannot be accessed by us or others without your export data
• No personal identifying information is associated with stored images
• Cloud storage enables seamless data backup and device migration

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide app functionality:

• OpenAI API: Your jewelry images are sent to OpenAI for AI analysis
• Supabase: Cloud storage for images and data backup functionality
• Google Play Billing: For subscription processing (when enabled)

Data Sharing

We share your information only as necessary for app functionality:

• OpenAI API: Images sent for AI analysis (jewelry identification only)
• Supabase: Images stored in our secure cloud database
• Google Play: Subscription data (when subscriptions are active)

We do NOT:

• Sell or rent your photos or data
• Share information with advertisers or marketing companies
• Provide data to analytics companies for tracking
• Transfer information to other apps or services

Legal requirement exception: We may disclose information if required by law enforcement or legal process.

Cloud Storage Explanation

How our cloud storage works for your privacy:

• Images are stored with random, non-identifiable URLs
• No personal information is linked to stored images
• Images cannot be browsed, searched, or accessed without specific URLs
• Only you have the URLs through your local app data and exports
• We cannot identify or access your specific images in our database
• This system enables backup/restore while maintaining privacy
• Storage is purely functional - not for data mining or analysis

Your Rights and Data Control

You have complete control over your data:

• View all your scan history and results anytime
• Export your data in JSON format for backup (includes image URLs)
• Delete individual scans or all data through app settings
• Import your exported data on new devices using your backup file
• INSTANT CLOUD DELETION: Use "Delete Cloud Images" feature in profile settings
• Simply upload your export file to immediately remove all cloud images
• Self-service deletion - no need to contact us
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data permanently

Cloud Image Deletion Process

We provide a powerful self-service deletion feature:

• Go to Profile → Delete Cloud Images
• Upload your exported JSON backup file
• App automatically finds all your image URLs
• Images are permanently and immediately deleted from our cloud storage
• Deletion is instant - files become inaccessible immediately
• No human intervention required
• You maintain complete privacy control

This feature provides immediate and permanent deletion of your cloud-stored images.

App Permissions

Jewelry Identifier requests only the following permissions:

• Camera Access: To capture new jewelry photos for analysis
• Photos/Storage Access: To select existing images from your gallery
• Network Access: For basic app functionality and AI analysis

We do NOT request or use:

• Location permissions
• Contacts access
• Microphone or audio recording
• Phone or SMS permissions
• Access to other apps or personal data
• Background location or tracking permissions

Children's Privacy

Our app is suitable for all ages as it only provides educational jewelry information. We do not collect any personal information from users of any age. The app only processes jewelry photos that users voluntarily submit for analysis.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes through the app or other communication methods. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of privacy policy updates.
